The show began at noon. It was a blues festival, so we played the blues for about 15 minutes. Levan is in the background playing his slide guitar. That's Brian on congas and Pat on guitar.

Then these two young ladies with balloons on their heads discovered they were going to make their musical debut at the King Biscuit Blues Festival. Time for them to play the blues along the banks of the Mississippi River.

And so the show begins. One after another...

kids are brought up on stage to play an instrument as the band plays on.

Everybody got a chance to play.
